How are you feeling?
問候別人除了用簡(jiǎn)單的How are you?之外,也可說:How are you feeling?(你覺得怎樣呢?) 如果說:You hurt my feelings. 就是‘你傷害我的情感,令我難受’,覺得憂郁不歡,可以說:I'm feeling blue,覺得蠻有趣或有點(diǎn)奇怪,可以說:I'm feeling funny,或者你感覺很好,就是I'm feeling good.。
對(duì)話
A:Tasha, you still look very pale. How are you feeling?
B:Better. My fever has broken, but I still feel quite weak.
A:I hope you get well soon.
B:I hope so too.
A:Get back to work.
I don't feel very well. / I don't feel quite right. / I feel a bit under the weather.(我感到有點(diǎn)不舒服)、I'm not feeling myself.(我感到不像自己)、I feel a bit funny.(我感到有點(diǎn)古怪)。 There is something funny about the computer; I can't move the cursor to where I want.(計(jì)算機(jī)有些古怪;我沒法把光標(biāo)移到我要的地方)。
假如你感到很不舒服,則可以說:I feel terrible / lousy / rotten / awful.(我感到糟透了)、I feel like hell.(我感到像在地獄那樣)、I'm (as) sick as a dog.(我病得像狗一樣)。Lousy本義是‘多虱的’,rotten則是‘腐爛的’,但在口語中兩字都可解作‘糟透了’,例如:Lousy / Rotten weather, isn't it?(天氣劣極了,你說是嗎?)(As) Sick as a dog.
最常見的一些情況則是I feel feverish(我感到發(fā)燒)/ chilly(渾身寒冷)/ hot and cold(陣?yán)潢嚐?/ dizzy(暈眩)/ sick(作嘔)、I have a stomachache.(我胃痛 / 腹痛)/ a splitting headache(頭痛欲裂)/ a backache(背痛)等。
