A:Well, as you know, on November 11th the allies signed a peace treaty with the Germans, also known as the Armistice Treaty. This marked the end of WWI and many countries around the world commemorate this date under names such as Remembers’Day. In Poland it’s their independence day! There’s a lot going on around the world on this day.如你所知,11月11日盟軍和德國(guó)簽署了和平條約,史稱為“休戰(zhàn)日”,它標(biāo)志著一戰(zhàn)的結(jié)束,全世界很多國(guó)家都紀(jì)念這個(gè)日子,有的將之稱為”紀(jì)念日“。在波蘭,就是它的獨(dú)立日。這天全世界都會(huì)舉行很多紀(jì)念活動(dòng)。
