The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. Before the festival, people are busy shopping in the supermarkets and cleaning the houses. People staying away hurry home by train or plane before the festival.

On the New Year's Eve, the whole family get together to have a big dinner, and then watch the Spring Festival Evening Party on CCTV. Druing the festival, people go to visit their friends and relatives.

Children love the festival best, because we can wear new clothes, have nice food and ge "pocket money".
