Student:Hit?

老師：噢，Hit在這里不是指打的意思，Hit the bar表示我們列一張酒吧的單子，然后挨個去逛。

Teacher:Oh! Hit the bars doesn't mean we hit them.It means we make a list of bars and go around them.

Student:Oh. Thanks.

1.BYOB是英語Bring Your Own Beer的首字母縮寫。由于國外的酒很貴(4到5美元或加元)，因此人們會自帶酒水，在國外外時可要當(dāng)心，別輕易向別人要煙或酒，弄不好就會被別人當(dāng)成Social smoker或Social drinker，就是那些自己不帶煙或不買酒，卻總是向別人要的那種人。

2.Drinking games,國外的drinking games和國內(nèi)可不一樣，有一種游戲是互相問問題，不管多尷尬都要回答，甚至有人會問你：Who did you sleep with last night?

3.Pick up hot chicks中文的直譯是泡妞。hot chicks是男孩對女孩的稱呼，尤其是漂亮女孩兒。男孩兒們更常說的是"Let's go to the bar and pick up some hot chicks。"絕對地道。

4.hit the bars不要被hit這個詞迷惑，hit the bar在這里就是指去泡吧，hit就是go to的意思。另外還有幾個跟hit有關(guān)的用法，也很常用，比如hit the road表示Let's go. hit the book表示Let's study. hit the sack表示Go to bed.

5.Party animal表示聚會迷,需要注意的是animal表達(dá)這種含義時,僅用于這種情況,千萬別自創(chuàng)出什么movie animal來,那就出笑話了.
