B:I’ve been busy with a first aid course that I started about a week ago at the Red Cross.我一直忙于一周前在紅十字會(huì)那里開(kāi)始學(xué)的急救課程。
A:Cool! I’ve always wanted to do something like that! Have you learned anything useful?真酷,我也一直想做點(diǎn)那類的是。你學(xué)到什么有用的東西了嗎?
B:For sure! I mean we’ve learned how to apply pressure to stop bleeding, how to check for a pulse, and even how to apply CPR!當(dāng)然。我學(xué)會(huì)了如何按壓來(lái)止血,如何來(lái)檢查麥博,甚至也學(xué)了如何用心肺復(fù)蘇法。
A:Have you treated any real emergencies?你治療過(guò)緊急事故嗎?
B:Well,they took us along with some paramedics.There was this guy who fell off his motorcycle and suffered a concussion as well as a couple of compound fractures. His wounds were pretty serious so they had to rush him to the hospital. It was intense!他們讓一些護(hù)理人員帶我們。有一個(gè)人從摩托上摔下來(lái),收到了震蕩,還有幾處綜合性骨折。他的傷很嚴(yán)重,所以他們必須飛速將他送往醫(yī)院,真是很緊急。
A:I can imagine! I tend to faint when I see blood, so I think I won’t be taking up a course like that anytime soon!我能想到,一看到血我就暈。所以我再也不會(huì)參加那樣的課程了。
