A:I don’t like it.It takes up too much time and I really hate having it clean up after the meal.I can’t stand doing the washing up,drying up and putting all the dishes and cutlery away. 我不喜歡。做飯花時(shí)間很長(zhǎng)而且我討厭飯后清潔。我討厭洗洗擦擦,擺盤子放刀具。
B:You can ask the guests for help. My guests usually insist on doing the washing up.I just have to remind them where everything goes. 你可以讓客人幫忙。我的客人通常喜歡擦洗。我會(huì)提醒他們東西要放在哪兒。
A:So what kinds of dishes do you usually make?I know you like Italian food. 你通常會(huì)做什么菜?我知道你喜歡意大利菜。
B:Italian,Indian and chinese.I’ve only recently started cooking chinese meals and I need some more practice. 意大利菜,印度菜和中國(guó)菜。我是最近開(kāi)始做中國(guó)菜的,還要多加練習(xí)。
A:Do you find it hard to get ingredients for Chinese food? 你沒(méi)發(fā)現(xiàn)中國(guó)菜的配料很難弄嗎?
B:Not at all.You can find most of them in supermarkets.The ingredients are usually the same as in Westurn food.The way that the food is prepared is the big difference,not the ingredients. 沒(méi)有啊。大多數(shù)都能在超市找到。配料通常都跟西餐的一樣。是做的方法不同,而不是配料。
A:How long does it take you to cook a meal for 5 or 6 people? 你為5、6個(gè)人做一頓飯要多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間?
B:Obviously,it depends on what I’m cooking.But I’d say it generally takes about one and a half hours. 當(dāng)然,這要看我煮什么了。但是一般會(huì)用一個(gè)半小時(shí)。
