Though it is contemptible to most of the students and forbidden by the university and authority, cheating is far from extinct. What’s worse is that those who cheat don’t consider cheating a disgraceful act.

If any unfair means other than hard work can secure high marks, there is no denying that the students will be encouraged, to some extent, to seek devious means to achieve their goals in life. The result may be that the society will end up in unfair competition.

舞弊不僅將打消了學(xué)生刻苦學(xué)習(xí)的積極性，而且影響了學(xué)生思想素質(zhì)的培養(yǎng)。考試是鼓勵和促進(jìn)學(xué)生努力學(xué)習(xí)的一種公平方式，如果除了努力學(xué)習(xí)之外還有其他的不公平的方式能獲得高分的話，毫無疑問，這在一定程度上會鼓勵學(xué)生去尋找不正當(dāng)?shù)姆绞絹磉_(dá)到他們的人生目標(biāo)，其結(jié)果可能會導(dǎo)致社會斷送在不公平的競爭中。

So it is of great necessity for the university authorities to take more effective measures to counteract the phenomenon of cheating on the campus.

因此大學(xué)里的權(quán)力機(jī)關(guān)要采取更有效的措施來消除校內(nèi)考試舞弊的現(xiàn)象是非常必要的。
